As you are working with records in your portlets, you may sort your records by different columns. In order to return to the default sort order for any portlet, you can use the 'Reset sort order' option within the column options.
Note: When looking at your search results in grid view, you can reset your search results to their default sort order in exactly the same way.
Note: The default sort order for most portlets is usually 'Date registered' descending although this setting may be changed by your RM Workspace administrator to suit your organisation's needs. However, some portlets are sorted differently including:
Favourites portlet - sorted by date the records were made favourites in descending order (records most recently made favourites at the top.
My recent documents - sorted by the date the records were accessed in descending order (records most recently accessed at the top).
Shared with group - sorted by the date the record was shared with the group iin descending order (records most recently shared with the group at the top).
The 'Reset sort' function returns the portlet/search results back to the default sort applicable to that portlet/search results list.
