When saving a search, the layout is also saved.  Thus when you perform a saved search, it is displayed in the same view in which it was displayed when you saved it.

When saving a search, all customisation applied to the performed search display is saved with the search; so when you perform the saved search, the search results will display the same data, with the same sort order and in the same layout as when you saved it.

If a record type filter was part of the criteria of your saved search, the id(s) of the record type(s) selected will be listed in this field.  If no record type filter was applied, this field will not display as is the case in the Saved search 'Registered in March by Dan' shown in the above picture.
