1

Open or close portlet

Use the Close button    to show only the title bar of your portlet, saving space on your screen.  To open a portlet, click on the Open button .
2

Switch between List/Grid layout

You can switch between list and grid layout to either look at a lot of information (metadata) on a few records (list view) or to see many records (one below the other) with less information displayed about each record (grid view).

Grid view offers a range of customisation options including management of which columns (metadata) are displayed, column width, column order and record sort order.
3

Show records in full screen

In portlets, the records and record information visible is constrained by the size of the portlet. To view more records and more metadata, click on the 'Display in full screen' button  3. Show records in full screen  to display the portlet's records in a larger screen area.
4

Refresh portlet

As record information changes, the changes are generally automatically updated to your screen, but you can refresh individual portlet record information by clicking on the refresh button.
5

Remove personal portlet

You can remove tag and search portlets that you have created on your home screen by clicking on the remove icon 5. Remove personal portlet.  If you do not have permission to remove a portlet, you will not see the 'remove' icon  in its titlebar.
Note: Removing a tag or search portlet does not delete the tag or the search on which the portlet was based.
Tip: You can close/open all your portlets at once by clicking on the button next to the welcome message at the top of your screen
