DragNdrop files to create new records or revisions

DragNdrop Overview

RM Workspace 4.3 has extensive dragNdrop functions, enabling users to drag files on to the RM Workspace screens to quickly:

create new records, with the dragNdropped files attached
create new records inside container records - with the dragNdropped files attached
create a new revision of an existing record using the dragNdropped file

In order to dragNdrop files into RM Workspace to create new records and to create revisions of existing records, the following conditions must be met:

1. Your browser must support dragNdrop functionality.

Internet Explorer versions 10 and 11 and Chrome all support dragNdrop
IE 8 and 9 do not support dragNdrop

2. Your personal WCAG setting must be disabled.

All Australian, state and territory government websites are required to conform to the guidelines to meet WCAG 2.0 Level 2.0 Level AA. (See http://webguide.gov.au/accessibility-usability/accessibility/ ).

Accordingly, in RM Workspace, WCAG compliance is switched on by default. However, to enable you to use RM Workspace to its fullest capabilities, you can disable personal WCAG compliance if you do not require it and if you wish to use the very useful, dragNdrop functions offered by RM Workspace.
