If you need to search for records using more complex search criteria, you can access RM Workspace's advanced search function by clicking on the 'Advanced search' link to the right of the quick search bar.
Tip: If content indexing is switched off or has failed, the 'Content' field in Advanced search settings and screen will no longer display
Access advanced search
For more complex searches, access the Advanced search facility from any RM Workspace screen by clicking on the 'Advanced search' link to the right of the quicksearch bar.
All information fields enabled for display in your advanced search screen are displayed in categories. You can click on any category titlebar to expand or collapse the category.
You can add/remove fields from your Advanced search form in the Advanced Search settings tab in your personal settings, but don't add too many fields you don't need because you may slow down your Advanced search performance.
To clear all criteria you have entered into the advanced search screen information fields, but to leave expanded categories open, click the 'Clear' fields button.
To refresh the advanced search screen, clearing all entered criteria and returning it to its default state with all categories collapsed, click again on the advanced search link to the right of the quick search bar.
Tip: If the fields you need to use are not displayed on the advanced search screen, go to the Advanced search settings tab in your personal settings by clicking on the cog icon (to the right of your image/placeholder at the top left of your screen) in order to configure them for display.
